The program is focused on the fundamentals of Stanislavsky method of acting, whose influence on acting on the world stage has been paramount. Teachers are professors and directors from the acclaimed Russian Institute of Theatre Arts, where this tradition was born and has been cherished for over a century.
Actingplaying Company offers year-round virtual classes in Voice and Speech for both professional actors and students.
Using Skype and Zoom platforms we are conducting teaching sessions focusing on public speaking for anyone interested in public presentations in various professional fields, including medical, psychological, science, and arts.
We are also offering multilingual services in translation and voiceover work.
Faculty

Marina Belenky
Program Director/Producer
Has extensive experience in leading international summer schools in the US and Europe, including the Stanislavsky Summer School in Cambridge, MA and TheaterLand in Riga, Latvia. Belenky served as instructor for language, speech, and Russian dialect and pronunciation in both the Master's Program and Summer Programs at Carnegie Mellon University's School of Drama, Pittsburgh PA.
Karen Merritt
is an acting coach, audiobook narrator, and voice over artist. She has helped many clients improve their vocal presentations through exploring relaxation/breathing methods, vocal warmups, articulation, and inflection. She holds an M. F. A. in Acting from Carnegie Mellon University and the Moscow Art Theatre School (a joint partnership program).
Peter Tedeschi
is a New York-based actor, broadcast journalist, and teacher. He helps others improve vocal presentations in person, online, and on air with techniques in ease in breathing, improved sound production, and better articulation. He has extensive broadcast experience in network television including CNN, Britain’s ITV, and Canada’s CTV. He also holds an MFA in Acting from Carnegie Mellon University and the Moscow Art Theatre, which included extensive vocal training.
Aidar Zakirov
Conducts master classes, seminars, laboratories on stage movement, combat and fencing in Russia.
Koruchekov Alexander
Instructor of actor’s skill, through stage improvisation, creative games, and stage freedom.
Maria Zorina
Instructor of voice and speech. Her goal as an actress and speech teacher is to remove tension through relaxation and normalizes breathing. She explores various methods of voice production and extension of range, in addition to working on resonators, diction, and articulation.
Vidas Silyunas
Theater History Doctor of Art History, All-Union Scientific Research Institute of Art Studies since 1982. Honored Art Worker of the Russian Federation, Head of the Department of Art Studies at the Moscow Art Theater School since 1992. Head of the Department of Art of Ibero-American Countries, All-Russian Research Institute of Art Studies since 1985, and Vice-President of the Association of Russian Spanishists.
